Will my WhatsApp number get banned?
No. Thredo runs on the official WhatsApp Business API through Meta Cloud API, on your own number and your own account. We only message people who have opted in, use approved templates outside the 24-hour window, and honour STOP immediately. The rules we work to are Meta’s own WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
What happens when it doesn't know the answer?
It says it will check, and passes the conversation to you with the whole history attached. It answers only from the sources you gave it and never invents a price, a time or a policy.
Can I take over a conversation myself?
Any time. Every thread is visible in your inbox as it happens, and the agent pauses the moment you start typing.
How long does WhatsApp approval take?
Meta usually verifies a business in one to three days. Web chat and email are live the same afternoon, so you can start before WhatsApp is approved.
What counts as a message?
Only a reply the agent sends. Bookings it makes, anything you reply yourself, and reading your website are all free.
What happens to my customers' data?
It is never used to train models. You can export or delete everything at any time, and deletion completes within 30 days. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
